‘Twas The Night Before Christmas:
Catching Santa Clause
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The motion sensors were placed by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
Mommy and Daddy paced through the halls,
setting up security cameras on the walls.
The phone and iPad were sitting by their bed,
Playing security camera footage close to their heads.
All the lights were off, except for one soft glow,
The security panel said: armed and ready to go!
When morning dawned, we sprang out of bed,
And looked at the iPad by our parents’ head.
On the screen, what did we see?
Something that made us incredibly glee.
There was footage of Santa, exclaiming before our sight,
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
We tried for years to spot old St. Nick,
but would always fail, for Santa is quite quick.
This Christmas we caught a glimpse of Santa instead,
Because we did what JM Security said.
